Callout on a Clio this evening via the RAC, the 3rd job from them today!
Unfortunately the customer only replaced the tyre a few weeks ago.
On the bright side, we managed to get to them in record time and back on the road, ready for tomorrow morning ☺️

Out on a Sunday job just outside Worksop today – got called to replace a pair of rear tyres on a Tesla. Honestly, they were some of the baldest tyres I’ve seen in a long time – well overdue! 😳
Managed to source a decent set of mid-range tyres that are still EV-rated, so the customer saved a fair bit compared to going full premium. Job done, happy driver, and a safer Tesla back on the road. 🚗⚡👌

It’s been a hectic spell at Tyre Emergency, but we always do our best to help as many stranded drivers as we can.
This driver in Sleaford had a flat on his Porsche and couldn’t find anyone who could supply the right tyre. Even Porsche told him it would be a 4–5 hour wait and cost over £400 to be recovered back to Birmingham.
He gave us a ring to see if we could help — and luckily, we could. We managed to track down the correct tyre, though it was all the way in Sheffield. It turned into a bit of a mission, but we got it sorted and had him back on the road within a few hours.
Sometimes it takes a bit of a detour, but we get it done.

Call out this evening just off the A46. Customer’s tyre was through to cords and went at high speed. Fortunately they were able to get off the A-road just in time. We got there in 30 minutes and the tyre was on in 10 mins.
He was aware his tyre needed changing so annoyingly it could have been avoided, but as we know life can get in the way and things get put off. Lesson learned I think 👍

🕘 Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30–5:30 | Sat 8:30–12:30 (half day)
We’re on the lookout for a skilled Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our growing team!
You’ll be out and about in a fully equipped van, handling a mix of roadside tyre replacements, puncture repairs, and battery swaps for cars, vans, caravans, and motorhomes.
🔧 What we’re looking for:
✔️ Minimum 2 years’ tyre fitting experience
✔️ Full UK driving licence – 0 points
✔️ Confident working solo & dealing with customers
✔️ Reliable, sensible, and detail-focused
✔️ Ideally based near Mansfield, Worksop, or Newark
💰 What you get:
✅ £28,000 annual salary
✅ Company van (ready for you each morning)
✅ Set working hours, with a half-day Saturday
